RH Gallery – aka Restoration Hardware – is coming to Sydney. The luxury US furnishings company will open on Bay Street in Double Bay at the end of 2025, in partnership with development company Fortis (which co-launched Neil Perry’s restaurant Margaret), The Australian reports.
According to a development application accessed by the Sydney Morning Herald, the $140 million development will sprawl across five levels, with a rooftop bar and an interior design studio alongside pieces for purchase.
RH is known for going beyond a traditional retail experience, using entire buildings and mansions – and even two private jets and a yacht (available for charter) – as showrooms, displaying its pieces alongside contemporary art. Its “galleries” also boast restaurants and wine bars, and there’s an RH hotel in New York’s Meatpacking District.

SIGN UPThe company only recently opened its first gallery outside of North America, in England’s Cotswolds region – in a building by renowned Regency-era architect John Soane. It aims to attract an upmarket clientele, and celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nina Dobrev have decked out their homes with its pieces.
RH Gallery will open in Double Bay in late 2025.
