Located on the border of Kings Cross and Potts Point, Petrol represents a quirky confluence of both areas, offering the vibrancy of the Cross, whilst retaining the quaint sophistication of Potts Point.

Renowned chef, Clinton Whiteman, is the man behind this all day eatery, creating unique but uncomplicated food. Whiteman has spent years perfecting dishes for this menu and the result is a vibrant offering of cafe staples including a breakfast sandwich, porridge with shredded coconut, sunflower seeds and date compote, tortilla Espanola with salty anchovies and a very refreshing lychee smoothie.

Every Thursday evening in the summer, is Paella Night and at 7pm Whiteman brings his 800-millimetre paella pan out to diners, serving the meal with crusty bread and a selection of Spanish wines.

The al fresco dining setup allows customers to people watch by day and soak up the humming local atmosphere by night.
