A new destination to recharge and recalibrate in style will arrive this winter when The Bathhouse joins the Albion Fine Trades Precinct in June.
The luxurious spa and wellness space – inspired by ancient European bathhouses – has been designed by award-winning architects Hogg & Lamb (Babylon, Gemelli, Lune) who have created a gorgeous, opulent setting with high ceilings, atmospheric lighting and a whole lot of travertine stone.
The Bathhouse experience will include a heated vitality pool, a 12-degree cold pool and an invigorating six-degree ice bath, plus a traditional sauna, two infrared saunas and a Finnish sauna with a fireplace. There’ll also be a tiered steam room, a float room and a relaxation lounge.

“Our aim is to transcend the standard of service and experience available in the Australian market and create a space where our guests can re-energise and restore, as part of a balanced lifestyle in an unmatched setting,” says managing director James Walsh, who’s also a seasoned long-distance and ultramarathon runner.
“I’ve had the opportunity to run ultramarathons all over the world and the privilege of experiencing some of the world’s most well-regarded and award-winning wellness and recovery centres.
“We’re honoured to have the opportunity to own and operate one of the most luxurious bathhouses in the world.”
The Bathhouse will open on June 29 at 64 Nariel Street, Albion. Guests will be able to visit casually or as a member, with sessions starting from $59. There’s also a $10,000 annual membership for unlimited access. Bookings are open now.
