One of Australia’s most upmarket private wellness clubs, Saint Haven, has announced a $20 million expansion with two new locations in Toorak and South Yarra to open in the second half of 2024.
Founded by property mogul Tim Gurner, the original Collingwood spot offers a range of luxury amenities to just 500 members (with a waitlist of more than 15,000 people). The four tiers of membership range between $179 and more than $1000 per week.
A new 1600-square-metre club at 505 Toorak Road in Toorak Village is a “Saint Haven Black Label” experience offering only the top two tiers of membership, Black and Ultimate. The bad news? It’s already sold out of spots ahead of its launch. The better news? The team is holding back 45 memberships to celebrate the official opening later this year.

SIGN UP“Our Toorak location is an invitation-only concept that will be even more exclusive,” said Gurner in a statement. “There will be a strict one-in, one-out policy and new members will need to be proposed and seconded by current members to ensure the offering remains private and within a circle of like-minded individuals.”
As well as luxury gym, spa, and sauna facilities, Saint Haven Toorak offers an array of treatments based on data collected from DNA testing and bloodwork using “medical-grade testing equipment and technologies”, plus Oura Ring sleep data, and other extras not currently offered in traditional healthcare settings. Wellness plans may include specialised supplements and nutritional advice. Plus, members can expect five-star perks such as a Bentley airport transfer service, your favourite fragrance in your private locker, and an on-site barber.
The second new location, Saint Haven South Yarra, will open in Larry Kestelman’s Capitol Grand building on the corner of Chapel Street and Toorak Road in August. Plans include a co-working space and boardroom; breathwork, yoga and reformer Pilates studios; a thermal 38-degree magnesium pool and ice baths; infrared sauna and steam room; a sound pod and lounge; laundry service; and an “on-site organic wholefoods restaurant and elixir bar” designed by celebrity trainer Luke Hines.
“We wanted to create the Qantas Chairman’s Lounge equivalent of health and wellness, where members are treated to the upmost impeccable level of personalised service that you can’t get anywhere else,” said Gurner. “To be able to train and enjoy the club myself and have members daily talk to me about the life-changing effect the club has had on them is just so incredibly humbling and makes all of the hard work worthwhile – and we have only just started.”
Saint Haven South Yarra will open in August 2024, with Toorak to follow in spring 2024.
