For a nation that loves a drink, we don't do a lot of it before midday. But that’s changing – slowly. Following the lead of cities such as Berlin and New York, many Sydney cafes now offer bottomless brunch packages, rather than just a few cocktails on the side. Assemble your squad and catch up over endless rounds of Mimosas and Bellinis this weekend.

  • Buns and bottomless bubbles? Sign us up. This Japanese favourite puts on a spread every Saturday for $95, and lets you upgrade to cocktails for an extra $35. Why wouldn’t you?

  • Tulum meets Lima at this breezy Mexican diner, where two bottomless packages (including a vegetarian one) come with free-flowing Margaritas, rosé and tap beer. Both are $99.

  • Whether you’ve got a group of four or 30, this hot new poolside pop-up has you covered. A ticket costs $78, and includes two-hours of bottomless Mimosas, rosé and white wine to go with your three-course feast.

  • Japanese plates and vinyl on request sounds like a damn good time to us. Choose your favourite tunes from the house list, and kick back with a $95 spread with bottomless house drinks. Cocktails are $35 extra.

  • Junda Khoo’s Malaysian joint does bottomless brunch and supper. Both come with unlimited cocktails and house drinks (selected), and some of the best Malaysian food in the city, for $75.

  • Chin Chin’s weekend bottomless sessions come with all the hits, including chilli-salt chicken wings and Kingfish sashimi. The $89 price tag includes free-flowing cocktails, house drinks and nonalc options.

  • Another two-hit wonder, the Winery puts on a bottomless spritz brunch on Saturdays and a a fabulous disco drag brunch on Sundays. Both are $89 and there’s great food and serious fun at both – you can’t go wrong either way.

  • An Aperol spritz on arrival is how it starts at this Italian stallion on Saturdays. Then it’s a three-course feast with bottomless wine, beer and mimosas, all for $99.

  • There’s nothing this north Bondi favourite can’t do, and you can add Italian-style bottomless brunches, Thursday to Sunday, to the list. This one’s $85, with a bunch of drink upgrades to choose from. Rock on.

  • This beautiful Levantine diner goes bottomless every weekend, with a Middle Eastern sharing feast starting at $129. A premium package and drinks upgrades are also available.

  • SoCal’s bottomless fiesta includes two hours of unlimited drinks (with a cocktail on arrival) and a southern Cali-style banquet for $89. Friday to Sunday, with live music on Saturdays.

  • Big Mediterranean flavours are in your future at Shaffa, which offers both set ($79) and a la carte menus for your weekend brunch. Keen to go bottomless? It’s an additional $37 for selected drinks.

  • This fun rooftop bar puts on not one, but two bottomless events every weekend. On Saturdays it’s serving up a southern-style menu and live tunes. Sundays it’s a plant-based share feast for the vegan crowd.

  • Endless spritzes and Vietnamese food together at last. The DIY rice paper rolls are a highlight, and for $80 it’s no wonder this one packs out every Saturday.
