The restrictions in South East Queensland that were brought in last week will ease at 4pm today, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced in a press conference this morning.

That takes Brisbane, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, Logan, Townsville and Palm Island back to stage three restrictions, meaning dancing is back, you can once again stand while eating and drinking, and capacity limits will increase at hospitality venues to one person per two square metres. Capacity on home gatherings will also go back to 100 and stadiums and events go back to full capacity.

Up to 200 people can attend funerals and weddings, and visitors will be allowed back into aged-care facilities and hospitals.
