Following its riotous autumn debut this year, month-long sensory celebration of food and art Night Feast returns for a second round this spring. From October 4 to 29, it’s bringing culinary treats from the city’s leading chefs, paired with live music, roving performances and a series of free events to Brisbane Powerhouse.

As a partner of Night Feast, Sapporo is offering one lucky Broadsheet reader and a friend the ultimate Night Feast experience – including flights for two from any Australian capital city and two nights’ accommodation at Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley (valued at $412 per night). Entry to Night Feast is free, but the winning pair will enjoy a special dinner for two at the Sapporo Izakaya by Taro (valued at $200), featuring Japanese cuisine served up by chef Taro Akimoto (Taro’s Ramen) and beers matched to every course thanks to Sapporo beer whiz Shinichiro Shimo.

The winner will also receive a Night Feast picnic basket (valued at $200), complete with a Palama Living picnic blanket and insulated picnic basket and table, two reusable cutlery sets and four reusable Sapporo Night Feast glasses.
